On Tuesday, August 25th Rep. Seth McKeel (R-Lakeland) winner of AIF’s Energy Council “Legislator of the Year” award, addressed members of the Council to discuss a number of energy-related issues.  On the top of the agenda was his support of an AIF-supported proposal that will create a process for approval of future oil and natural gas exploration in Florida waters.  Rep. McKeel will be a key player in the drilling debate, which will likely be one of the top issues considered during next year’s legislative session.
