Regarding Rick Scott winning the Republican gubernatorial primary

“On behalf of Associated Industries of Florida and our members across the state, we are pleased that Rick Scott (R) won today’s Republican primary election.  As a successful businessman who understands the need to have an accountable, balanced state budget, Scott’s conservative philosophy is consistent with the beliefs of our members throughout the state.  His commitment to maintaining choice and competition in the health care system, lower taxes, and limiting regulations that prevent businesses from creating jobs make him an excellent candidate for Governor of our great state.

Should he win the general election, we look forward to working with Rick Scott as the next Governor of the State of Florida.”
