ORLANDO - Representative Sheri McInvale (District 36 - Orlando) is announcing
her intention to change her political affiliation from the Democratic
Party to the Republican Party.
“Since my election
to the House in 2002, my foremost concern has been how to best represent
my constituents,” said Representative McInvale. “The principled vision
being developed by the House Republicans will effectively empower the
citizens I serve.”
Representative
McInvale will formally announce her decision today at 3:00 PM at the El
Quijote International Cuisine restaurant located at 5072 Dr. Phillips
Blvd. on the corner of Dr. Phillips Blvd. and Conroy Rd., Orlando.
Representative
McInvale is a Florida native and mother of three. She is a graduate of
Auburn University and is employed as a public relations director.
