2017 Florida U.S. Capitol Summit

The inaugural Florida U.S. Capitol Summit was an overwhelming success and well attended by AIF members, members of Congress, other policy leaders.

On the first day, participants attended exclusive policy briefings at the National Association of Manufacturers’ office where their policy experts provided updates on key issues such as health care and tax reform.  That afternoon, a welcome reception was held at the Capitol Hill Club where attendees and their guests had an opportunity to talk one-on-one with members of Congress, policy leaders and other business leaders. Later that evening, top sponsors of the Summit had a private dinner with U.S. Senator Marco Rubio.

The morning of the second day, participants received updates in the Eisenhower Executive Office Building from White House policy advisors on issues such as EPA water and regulatory issues, FEMA/Irma recovery efforts and national tax reform, followed by a White House tour.
