As we reported yesterday, a deal has finally been reached on medical-liability legislation. The formal announcement was made this morning at a press conference attended by Governor Jeb Bush, Senate President Jim King (R-Jacksonville), House Speaker Johnnie Byrd (R-Plant City), and a host of key House and Senate negotiators.  Read Press Release

The legislation will be taken up during Special Session D, which begins next Tuesday, August 12.
