Tallahassee, Fla. – The Associated Industries of Florida (AIF) today released the following statement attributed to its President & CEO Tom Feeney regarding Governor Rick Scott’s recent round of job tours and endorsements from the business community.

“In early March, AIF Board of Directors unanimously endorsed Governor Rick Scott in his campaign for re-election for the 2014 Election Cycle. 

“With the Governor’s recent job tours and endorsements coming in from the business community, AIF – which consists of some worldwide companies and Florida’s largest employers – is backing the Governor because of his unwavering, successful focus on creating new jobs and turning our state’s economy back in the right direction.

“We are pleased with the Governor’s continued efforts for ‘It’s Working Florida,’ that showcases the Governor is doing everything to bring new job creators to the Sunshine State, help businesses flourish and keep hard-earned dollars in Floridians’ pockets.”
