Tallahassee, Fla. – The Associated Industries of Florida (AIF) today released the following statement, attributed to its President & CEO Tom Feeney, regarding Governor Ron DeSantis’ first State of the State address.

“AIF applauds Governor Ron DeSantis on his first State of the State address, where he outlined his bold vision for Florida, which includes several issues of importance to Florida employers and employees.

“In just his first few months of office, Governor DeSantis has already done so much to address strengthening our economy and our environment and science-based water quality projects, fueling hurricane recovery efforts, and broadening technical and STEMM workforce development.

“We look forward to working with the Governor and leaders in the Senate and House on ways to continue to make the Sunshine State one of the best places to do business.”
